JON STUART ANDERSON POLYMER CLAY
How does he do it? Every color in each design is actually a different piece of clay. No paint is used at all! In creating these sculptures, Jon uses his mathematically fine-tuned engineering skills and ingenuity to produce pieces extremely intricate. For each piece, Jon first creates the design, creates the colors of clay and makes them into a loaf. The loaf is then shaped, sliced, applied and finally baked.
ROCKI GORMAN TURQUOISE JEWELRY
Rocki Gorman may have been born in New Jersey, but her heart and soul has always been in the West. As a child, Rocki fell in love with turquoise and stones, and today her true passion is her Native American creations. Rocki’s jewelry designs have been seen on many stars, and she most recently designed for Hillary Duff for the magazine “Cowboys & Indians.” Rocki’s mission is simple: “Quality, hand made, proudly American creations for everyone to enjoy!”
JOHANNA & WILL DEMAY POTTERY
The DeMay’s make each piece by hand beginning on a potter’s wheel. The pieces are decorated using glazes and techniques developed over many years and then fused together in a kiln. The process can take months, and each piece is a true masterpiece of their imagination. They incorporate a bit of nature into their pieces, reflected in colors or actual animal embellishments on the pottery. Recently, the DeMay’s have chosen a beautiful beige/black/green/red color scheme that they have wanted to do since they began…and the outcome is exceptional!
JUDY SIEBENALER POTTERY
In life, she gets to play with fire…and Judy does that all year round. She is a Wild Land Fire dispatcher and also a potter. Her “Horse Hair Pottery” is made by using hair from the tail and mane of a horse. Pieces of hair are placed on the hot pottery, sprinkled with sawdust to begin a smoking process, and then the pot is fired and rock polished. No paint or glaze is used. Judy also creates unique Crosses spattered with semi-precious stones. Her philosophy: Art is not what you see, but what you make other people see!
CHRIS HEEDE POTTERY
Chris has a unique take on your usual Raku Vases, bowls, platters and wall deco. He also incorporates small Glass pieces by infusing them into his pieces. Spectacular large vases!
JIM ROB & PEGGY MCKENZIE METAL SCULPTURE
Jim & Peggy make exquisite brass & copper sculptures that truly reflect the southwestern culture. They incorporate natural items such as feathers and stones to accentuate their pieces. The outcome is really a unique piece of the Southwest!
BRAD LOVING POTTERY
Brad makes pottery designed for the wall. He makes great use of the neutral colors such as beige, brown and green as well as the color combination of the reds & blacks. Many of his pieces are used along side other Southwest designs or paintings to accentuate the entire design.
